Reprographics is the process of reproducing and reprinting artistic material using digital means.

About Reprographics:

Photographs or original artworks such as drawings and paintings are scanned at a high resolution to capture as much detail as possible. If desired, changes can be made with digital editing software. Unlike traditional printing methods, these digital files can be manipulated. Colour corrections can be made, imperfections can be eliminated, works can be resized. Colour images can be turned to black and white or sepia. The possibilities are almost endless.Repographics, j & s picture frame warehouse, saskatoon, giclée

Now these digital images can be made into giclée prints. Giclée prints are high quality inkjet prints produced with archival inks. You may choose to print a photograph onto stretched canvas, watercolour paper or a heavy weight, high quality paper***.  Giclée printing offers countless creative options but also gives the advantage of  “printing on demand”.  Instead of a substantial investment in a large number of prints at one time, giclée printing allows the artist to print only as many prints as needed at any given time.

Our printing department offers scanning, giclée printing, large and small format printing, canvas printing, photo and document touching and restoration. All our services are done in site, expeditiously and always with quality in mind. We take the time to carefully evaluate each item to be printed and adjustments are made accordingly so your prints always look their best.
